The one issue is that Tretch isn't actually very good at either. Tretch is known for his raiding and his trickery. The real issue with Queek is that his campaign mechanics are boring AF (AKA they pretty much don't exist).Īnd honestly, Tretch, while fairly generic, has more or less the same problem that Queek does. I don't play with it, but I definitely feel that Queek isn't really (in my opinion) that much more generic than Grom or Wurrzag. There's actually a mod out there that kind of does this, called Queek's Burrow. IE, Grom gives regen to all melee infantry, Belegar gives +10 leadership and Immunity to Psychology, Ikit Claw gives +30 Diplomacy with Skaven and +1 public order, I think you get the idea. Imagine if he could take LL's heads and add them to his trophy rack, where they would give factionwide buffs or buffs to his army.
His major shtick/weird thing in the lore is that he takes important people's heads and then talks to them, and they give him advice. Queek Headtaker is an extremely DLCable lord. You will instantly be able to choose from 8 legendary Lords to play as, each of which has a unique campaign and represents a totally different playstyle.I dunno, I feel like people like to bash on Queek and Tretch a lot for being generic but honestly there was some serious missed opportunity to do some cool ♥♥♥♥ with them, especially with Queek.
