It’s almost impossible to properly speculate what Infinity Ward’s tease means, but we feel safe in saying that it’s not a sequel to the massively disliked Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare starring Jon Snow (sorry, Kit Harington). This has led outlets like Gamingbolt to suggest that the new Call Of Duty may be related to Modern Warfare 2 seeing as the character Ghost first showed up and supposedly died in that entry. But, according to Kotaku’s Jason Schreier on ResetERA, it isn’t the follow-up everyone has speculated.
With Call Of Duty: Ghosts having concluded on a massive cliff-hanger, many have speculated that Infinity Ward’s contribution will be a sequel.
